Our VIP Program provides access to low-income and at-risk youth to help them achieve their highest potential through FREE and discounted:<br \/>\n\u2022\tAdmission for City of Miami residents is discounted 50%, recognizing Miami&#8217;s rank as 4th largest percentage of low income residents in US.<br \/>\n\u2022\tAfter-school programs daily throughout the year onsite and in two elementary schools in Miami\u2019s inner city neighborhoods.<br \/>\n\u2022\tCamp Scholarships to MCM&#8217;s Camps which immerse children in various global cultures.<br \/>\n\u2022\tEducational Exploration Field Trips and Tours aligned with Common Core State Standards and the Miami-Dade County Public Schools\u2019 Competency-Based Curriculum.<br \/>\n\u2022\tHead Start Programming for preschool students from underserved areas to visit MCM once per week for 6 weeks for arts and music-enrichment programming and receive an outreach by MCM staff in their classrooms.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMonthly and Annual Events and Programming such as monthly Free Third Fridays when MCM is open to the community until 8 pm.<br \/>\n\u2022\tSensory Saturdays and Programs for Children with Special Needs provide monthly programs, field trips and in-school outreaches. <\/p>\n<p>The VIP program is designed to: (1) increase alliances with families, educators and community organizations in order to meet the developmental and school-readiness needs of all children; (2) provide educational arts-infused experiences beyond traditional classroom setting; (3) promote health, wellness and fitness; (4) promote positive child development and educational advancement; and (5) increase opportunities for multicultural enrichment and creative expression. <\/p>\n<p>This grant will support programming for children with special needs and sensory processing disorders including Autism Awareness Month programming, in-school arts outreaches and internships for young adults with autism.<\/p>\n<p>Total Project Budget: $224,520<\/p>\n<p>Other Funding <br \/>\nSources For The Project (Committed &amp; Potential): The Batchelor Foundation, committed; The Children&#8217;s Trust committed;  Peacock Foundation, Inc. committed; Target, committed; Head Start, committed; Anthony R.
