\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
UCP is requesting grant funding for behavioral supports for the children with significant developmental disabilities and intensive behavioral needs. For the past four years UCP has operated a preschool class for children with intensive behavioral needs. During FY 14-15 the Hermanowski foundation provided the funds that allowed UCP to hire a certified behavioral analyst to consult with the classroom teachers and staff and develop behavior plans and interventions. The behavior analyst also provided staff and parent training. These resources allowed us to significantly reduce problem behaviors, specifically physical aggression, property destruction, elopement and non-compliance. <\/p>\n
