Project Title: Learning Spectrum: A Faith Based Educational & Therapeutic Resource Center for Special Needs Families
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
Learning Spectrum, in partnership with Stand But Not Alone (SBNA) Ministry, is creating a faith-based educational and therapeutic resource center to serve children with special needs and low-income families. This initiative will provide integrated therapy services, early childhood education, and family support, bridging the gap between medical and educational services in underserved communities.<\/p>\n
Phase one will focus on launching the facility within SBNA Ministry, ensuring compliance with DCF licensing, facility renovations, and operational startup costs. The center will offer ABA therapy, speech, occupational, and physical therapy, alongside structured early learning programs.<\/p>\n
Phase two includes expansion to 707 Northwest 95th Terrace, a Palmetto Home Partnership property, to establish a community hub combining educational services with affordable housing for low-income families. This expansion will provide stability, resources, and opportunities to families in need.<\/p>\n
Through SBNA\u2019s faith-driven mission, the project will also support ministry efforts in Haiti, and Dr. Joseph LaFortune will introduce home health training and a potential nursing program, further empowering families with career pathways.<\/p>\n
With funding, Learning Spectrum at SBNA Ministry will become a sustainable, faith-based center of excellence, transforming lives through education, therapy, and community-driven support.<\/p>\n
