Lotus House upholds a Children First principle, understanding that breaking the cycles of homelessness, poverty, and abuse begins with our children.<\/p>\n<p>Our newest project, Children\u2019s Village at Lotus Village, is a model children\u2019s neighborhood resource center. Set to open in just a few short months, directly across the street from Lotus House, Children\u2019s Village will provide a safe, welcoming, trauma-informed, and inclusive environment for all. <\/p>\n<p>This 75,000+ square foot, 5-story, state-of-the-art facility fosters unprecedented collaboration among more than 10 nonprofit organizations, collectively supporting an estimated 2,000-2,500 children annually from both Lotus House and the broader Overtown community.
