Project Title: Scholarships for potential members
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
In a joint effort with Computers4Kids, YOCVA will implement a summer music program (2016) for low income children, ages 10-16 years old. The children will be exposed to various forms of music and instruments and will create a musical production during the program. Funds for this project have been raised, however, we want to extend our scholarship program to at least ten of the summer participants in order for them to participate in one of our orchestras and\/or ensembles for our 2016-17 season. Also, private music lessons and instrument rental for the children will be included in scholarship awards.<\/p>\n
