This project addresses the critical need for financial literacy among underserved youth in Flint, Michigan. In today’s economy, financial knowledge is essential for success. Many young people lack access to quality financial education, leaving them vulnerable to financial pitfalls and limiting their opportunities. This initiative empowers 100+ youth annually with the skills and confidence to navigate their financial futures. \u00a0 <\/p>\n
Our program offers a dynamic, STEM-integrated curriculum, hands-on workshops, and practical application. Interactive workshops cover budgeting, credit management, saving, debt avoidance, and investing. Integrating STEM principles enhances critical thinking and analytical skills, crucial for financial decision-making. Participants create mock budgets, analyze financial scenarios, explore entrepreneurship, and develop personalized financial plans. \u00a0 <\/p>\n
This program breaks cycles of financial hardship by equipping youth with the tools to make informed choices. We aim to:<\/p>\n
