The Healing Hearts Kids Camp is a therapeutic program designed to support children who have lost a loved one to homicide. This camp provides a safe, nurturing environment where young survivors can begin to heal, express their grief, and build resilience through specialized activities. The camp focuses on emotional expression, peer connection, and mental health support, helping children navigate their trauma in a compassionate, fun, and creative setting.<\/p>\n
Through art therapy, music, play therapy, and grief counseling, children will have the opportunity to process their emotions, connect with peers who understand their loss, and gain coping skills to support their emotional well-being. Licensed counselors and trauma specialists will guide children in age-appropriate healing activities, helping them build a foundation for moving forward while honoring their loved ones.<\/p>\n
The camp will also include fun, engaging activities like games, crafts, and group projects that provide joy and foster positive experiences, balancing the emotional work with moments of lightness. This approach allows children to rediscover hope, find community, and feel empowered to continue their healing journey.<\/p>\n
