Cranio Care Bears provides care packages to children and families facing craniosynostosis surgery. Care packages include items that will be both comforting and useful before, during, and after surgery.<\/p>\n
Care packages vary by age, size, and gender of the child but most packages contain handmade comfort blankets that are so soft and cuddly, handmade hats to fit those beautiful new heads and keep fingers from scratching at the scars, socks for mom and child, a toy or teether, snacks to give you energy while waiting for your precious baby to come out of surgery, chap stick, toiletries, bibs, etc. If it is an older child, we substitute a few items and include a fun toy they can play with while recovering.<\/p>\n
