Launch is proposing the construction of a 13,000 square foot pediatric therapy center on three acres of donated land in Denham Springs. The facility will double our current capacity, providing a state-of-the-art space designed to enhance therapeutic outcomes for children with disabilities and developmental delays. The new center will feature:
\n-A larger gym with movable walls to simulate real-life activities, such as climbing stairs, to improve functional mobility and motor skills.
\n-A custom-designed, accessible playground with adaptive swings and bikes to allow all children, regardless of ability, to engage in therapeutic play.
\n-Designated therapy and play areas to facilitate peer interaction, cognitive development, and socialization.
\n-A covered drop-off area to ensure safe, weather-protected entry for medically fragile children. <\/p>\n
In addition to expanding our core therapy services, the facility will allow us to integrate mental health services, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The new center will also provide space for staff dedicated to helping families navigate complex Medicaid and insurance systems, ensuring that children receive the full range of services they need.<\/p>\n
