Project Title: Summer Theatre Program – Kids & Teens

The Summer Theatre Kids Program offers an immersive arts education experience for children and teens, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills in acting, singing, dancing, and teamwork. The program focuses on performance through the rehearsal of age-appropriate musicals, offering a structured and supportive environment for young performers to grow in their craft.<\/p>\n
Auditions for the program will take place in May, with rehearsals beginning in June. Participants will meet 2-3 days a week for 2 hours each session, engaging in a range of activities including character development, script analysis, staging, choreography, and vocal training. These rehearsals will culminate in live performances, allowing participants to showcase their work to the community.<\/p>\n
Led by award-winning director Elisha Belden and the experienced team at Twistid Arts Initiative, this program emphasizes both artistic growth and personal development. Children and teens will not only gain theater skills, but also build confidence, improve communication, and learn the value of collaboration. Through this program, participants will have a creative outlet, while also developing a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work.<\/p>\n
The program will be promoted locally through schools, community centers, and social media, as well as through digital ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Hulu to reach a broader audience. The Summer Theatre Kids Program aims to foster a love of the arts while making a lasting impact on the lives of young people and strengthening the community through the transformative power of theater.<\/p>\n
