The I.R.I.S.E. (Individualized Roadmap to Independence, Resilience, Support, and Empowerment) program at Casa De Los Angelitos provides comprehensive services to support mothers during pregnancy and early motherhood. This grant will specifically enhance our healthcare and prenatal classes and education and parenting resources. We aim to hire an Occupational Therapist to create customized exercise and nutrition plans and provide holistic healthcare, mental health, and physical health services. The program’s objective is to engage 200 participants per year, improving birth experiences and outcomes for pregnant women and their families in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
