The River Road African American Museum is in its 30th year of existence. Our purpose is to collect, preserve, archive, and narrate the spaces and faces of the rural river parishes of Louisiana. In doing so, we provide educational opportunities for all ages and have recently reestablished our youth initiatives.
\nWe are currently hosting our STREAM camp which incorporates STEM with Reading and Arts. To meet this goal, we have partnered with Girls Play Trumpetts Too and The Tchoupitoulas Corridor Mural Project with Art by J.Pierre. We are seeking support for these initiatives.<\/p>\n
