\nWe are establishing chapters in Flint, Michigan, and Salt Lake City, Utah, aimed at enriching the lives of youth. To ensure the success and sustainability of these chapters, we require funding to develop a comprehensive online training program for our leaders.
\nTraining Components:
\nVocal Training: Safe techniques for singing Gospel music, focusing on preventing strain and tension.
\nStage Fright Workshop: Strategies to overcome nervousness and manage negative emotions.
\nBuilding Confidence: Activities to enhance self-esteem and emotional resilience.
\nChoral Etiquette: Guidelines on socializing and behavior with kindness, consideration, and respect.
\nChoralography Training: Basic choreography for choir members.
\nDirector Training: Instruction on teaching vocal parts without sheet music, conducting basics, and leadership skills.
\nSong Creation: Guidance on writing and recording positive and inspirational songs.
\nPolicies & Procedures: Framework for running a UGCI chapter effectively.
