Project Title: Parenting Through Trauma
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
Parenting Through Trauma is a project that addresses the difficulties of pregnancy and parenting, while coping with unidentified and unaddressed traumas. This project will allow Lip Gloss for Love to expand its services to urban and rural communities that may find it difficult to access parenting services, support, resources and referrals for adult and teen parents. Our services will address traumas such as: family, domestic and intimate partner violence, managing anger, and mental wellness. Parenting classes, life skills, and therapeutic educational services are available to pregnant and parenting individuals with children ages 0-3 years old. Resources provided include: diapers, pull-ups, underwear, wipes, clothing and other essential items. Lip Gloss for Love will also provide cloth-diapers as an option to those who chose a more holistic approach. Lip Gloss for Love will extend referrals to partner organizations that provide services outside of our scope. <\/p>\n
