These programs include a range of activities such as day camps, cycling, rock climbing, and more. Our summer camps are designed to provide an inclusive environment where youth with disabilities can fully engage in outdoor recreational activities alongside their peers, while also building on their individual capabilities.

The emphasis of our programs is to create experiences that facilitate personal growth, promote self-confidence and nurture independence. The interactions during these outdoor activities are often pivotal in enhancing the communication skills of our young participants. They offer an enriching space where they can form genuine friendships, expand their social networks, and reduce feelings of isolation.

Moreover, these adaptive recreation activities are not merely about enjoyment and camaraderie. They challenge the youth to explore their limits, to foster resilience, and to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, which significantly impacts their well-being.

Total Project Budget: $10,000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): No Child Left Inside, Get Active Stay Active, The Glaser Foundation, Jordan Fund

Project Duration: Ongoing
Geographical Area Served: King County, WA
Age Group To Be Served: 7-18

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Mr.
Contact First Name: Griffin
Contact Last Name: Armour
Contact Title: Development Manager
Contact Phone: 4252058882
Contact Email: griffina@outdoorsforall.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Outdoors for All Foundation Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: Mailing Address: 6344 NE 74th St. Suite 102 City: Seattle State: WA Postal Code: 98115 Main Phone: 206.838.6030 Main Fax: Organization Website: https://outdoorsforall.org/ Employer ID Number: 91-1085999 Organization Tax Status: 501(c)(3) Proposal Information Today’s Date: 3/28/2024 […]

[3

post-6009","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
