Young Audiences Arts for Learning respectfully requests permission to submit a proposal to the Charles and Joan Hermanowski Family Foundation for $10,000 in General Operating Support. This crucial funding will allow us to reach more than 5 million underserved children, PreK-12, in diverse communities nationwide. A recognized pioneer in the field, Young Audiences integrates the arts into children\u2019s required curriculum, bringing dynamic learning to children in underfunded communities in 27 states and Washington D.C., with 29 robust affiliates. Our mission\u2014to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts\u2014aims to close the growing opportunity gap today. We ask your help as we strive to nurture young people\u2019s creativity irrespective of their socioeconomic background. With your support, we will provide invaluable professional training to more than 50,000 educators in 2025. Young Audiences\u2019 structured creative experiences will inspire millions of young people to believe in the life-changing power of their own education. Our approach has a measurable impact on academic performance, school attendance, enhanced critical thinking, social skills, and student engagement across diverse communities. It has proven pivotal in redefining educational landscapes, making learning more accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
