CHILL Tech Program is for 1 – 6-month, training programs that will provide 2 cohorts of 16- to 21-year-olds the opportunity to work with IT professionals and certified technicians to learn:
\n\u2022\tIntroduction to Information Technology (IT), including:
\no\tIT Roles and Responsibilities
\no\tProject management
\no\tSoftware development
\no\tArtificial intelligence
\no\tCyber-security
\no\tSocial-media marketing
\no\tBreak fix \/ help desk software and hardware troubleshooting
\n\u2022\tBest practices in troubleshooting to identify and diagnose issues.
\n\u2022\tProduct knowledge, including Mac and PC hardware and software.
\n\u2022\tCustomer service skills and addressing the needs of clients in a professional manner.
\n\u2022\tThe program will also include site visits to local Information Technology (IT) companies.
\n\u2022\tUpon completion, scholars will be able to keep the laptops that they will use in the program for hardware troubleshooting and repair.
\n\u2022\tWill receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course\n<\/p>\n
