Our organization has reached a critical time of growth and is in need of funding for capacity building. This funding will help us obtain & maintain a purchased or leased building to operate and expand our current programs. It will also allow us to hire an Executive Director of operations to oversee this expansion. Through the expansions we will incur additional operating expenses as we endeavor to double our impact and the amount of people we serve. <\/p>\n
We serve a unique purpose in our community and provide much needed support to at-risk teens and young adults. Our primary people group is the skateboarding community (skaters and non-skaters alike). We show love, value, and direction to the disoriented youth at the local skate parks. Care is provided for these athletes, their friends, and the other misfits in the community through one-on-one mentorship, meeting basic needs such as regular meals, shoes and clothing as well as a safe, sober indoor environment free of cost. Unlike any other organization in our community, our focus is on these outliers which are mainly at-risk teens and young adults ages 13-21. <\/p>\n
