The Westside’s mission is to empower youth and families socially, academically, and spiritually, inspiring them to take on leadership roles in their community. The Westside\u2019s After School Program (ASP) provides a safe place where middle and high school students can come to escape the stresses that they face on a daily basis as well as receive the academic help they need to succeed in school. The program is open from 3:15-7pm, Monday through Thursday. Students receive homework help from tutors, share a meal, and then attend an elective of their choice until 7pm. Over 90 students from West Chester Area School District are registered for the ASP this school year.<\/p>\n

\nSources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Potential funding: We have requested a total of $32,500 in submitted grant applications so far in 2024 towards Youth Education at the Westside. We will continue to submit an average of 4 grant applications per month. Committed funding: We maintain a consistent donor base of individuals ($9,718 per month) who support our General Operating Budget monthly. We also receive one-time donation gifts throughout the year to support our General Operating Budget.<\/p>\n
