We are writing to express our interest in partnering with your foundation, whose focus on all aspects of a child’s life up to age 21 aligns perfectly with our mission at New Life UBC Church: to nurture and empower future generations through education and the arts.<\/p>\n
Many young people in our community, particularly middle and high school students and post-secondary youth, lack access to quality STEM and arts programs, which can limit their future opportunities. This is where our STEAM Engine OST (Out of School Time) Program comes in. <\/p>\n
Our innovative program will provide these young people with the skills, knowledge, and experiences they need to succeed in college and careers. Through hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts & math, and partnerships with community organizations, high-education institutions, and trade schools, we will spark their interest in STEM fields, cultivate creativity and analytical skills, and offer valuable internships and workshops.<\/p>\n
We are already partnered with Drexel University, the Franklin Institute, Community College of Philadelphia and the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals and are actively seeking collaborations with additional organizations to ensure a comprehensive and enriching program. We are confident that our STEAM Engine OST Program will have a lasting impact on the lives of young people in our community, empowering them to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n
