We quickly discovered the untapped leadership skills in youth, and with support from Dooda staff, activities are now determined by youth, planned by youth, and executed by youth. Under the guidance of a participant-led President, Junior President, and Teen Lead, activities are created that provide kids and youth ages 4-18 with play opportunities, as well as leadership projects, and family activities. All activities, which have brought together from 10-200 children, youth, and community members, include cultural events, service projects, workshops, and recreation and play. Along with regular structured and unstructured play time (basketball, four square, tag, and more), recent events include a Black History Celebration (led by kids, with children and youth presentations), Drive by Love Event-Valentines Card Making and delivery to seniors, a Volunteer Food Giveaway Project, Family Day, with hiking and playing, a Girl-Power event, showing off the many talents of our female participants, and more. Along with empowering kids to be leaders, our aim is to create a community of love, safety, and continual growth and development.

Total Project Budget: $190,980

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): City of San Francisco,

Project Duration: 12 months
Geographical Area Served: San Frrancisco
Age Group To Be Served: 11-17

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms.
Contact First Name: Erica
Contact Last Name: McClure
Contact Title: President
Contact Phone: (415) 430 – 8507
Contact Email: doodaactivities@gmail.com

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Dooda Activities Legal Name (if Different): Dooda Activities Corp Also Known As: Mailing Address: 739 Bryant Street City: San Francisco State: CA Postal Code: 94107 Main Phone: 415) 559 – 9986 Main Fax: Organization Website: https://doodaactivitiesyouth.org/ Employer ID Number: 87-3748361 Organization Tax Status: 501c3 Proposal Information Today’s […]

[3

post-4994","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
