\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
The program offers two ten-week entrepreneurial cohorts designed to help underserved youth in Philadelphia learn to solve problems like an entrepreneur and apply those skills to business ownership and careers. Participants meet twice weekly for two hours per session. The curriculum provides direct instruction, coaching, and mentoring to provide future business owners with materials, guided practice, knowledge checks, and group discussions. Subjects include Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset, Testing an Opportunity, Building a Competitive Marketing Plan, Cost-Effective Customer Strategies, and Attracting Capital For the final two weeks the students will prepare and pitch their potential business opportunities to judges in the Pitch Competition\n<\/p>\n
