Project Title: Spring Training Trip Funding

Every year the boosters works with the players to raise funds to travel south to New Bern, North Carolina for Spring Training. When participation was at its highest of around twenty players, the trip was affordable for players to fundraise to cover the cost. Over the years the numbers have decreased but the need to go to North Carolina still exists.
\nThe trip to North Carolina serves many purposes that speak to towards the purpose of the Boosters: helps to encourage better participation in playing softball, to sharpen skills for the season, but most importantly it helps to build team camaraderie. The week spent together at camp brings the girls together in such an impactful way.<\/p>\n
