Project Title: Youth Aging Out Life Skills Workshop

We seek funding to improve our impact and provide the necessary resources and support. We focus on teenagers and young adults aging out of foster care and adoption centers in Henderson, Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas, Nevada. Our program, PEC Finances, aims to assist this population by improving their emotional and mental health, increasing the likelihood of positive outcomes at the beginning of their life journey, and raising their socioeconomic status.<\/p>\n
We are excited to submit our Letter of Intent to the Hermanowski Family Foundation. PEC Finances aims to receive support for our financial literacy and life skills program. We empower young adults by providing high-quality financial education for long-term economic change and freedom.<\/p>\n
Since 2015, our organization has conducted workshops to help individuals manage their finances effectively. PEC Finances assists in setting financial goals, creating a household budget, balancing a checkbook, developing a savings program, and using and maintaining credit responsibly. Apart from imparting financial education, we also conduct life skills workshops to help individuals set life goals that guide them in making important decisions, such as choosing a career, living independently, and purchasing a car.<\/p>\n
Learning to earn, spend, save, invest, and make wise contributions to the well-being and stability of teenagers and young adults uplifts not only their lives but also the lives of the communities they will live in to become leaders in the communities. With the assistance of the Hermanowski Family Foundation, we aim to expand our reach, enhance our services, and make a lasting impact on their lives.<\/p>\n
