Raise Montana recruits individuals and supports them in completing all of the Montana state requirements to become a certified caregiver. We then support substitutes in connecting with licensed child care programs via an easy-to-use online platform that saves providers time. The Raise Montana Substitute Service supports the growth of the Early Childhood Education workforce and the sustainability of Montana child care programs by staying fully staffed. Paying for new staff to become fully trained is often an expensive and time consuming barrier for child care programs. The Raise Montana Substitute Service (RMSS) project aims to address the shortage of qualified and trained substitutes in Montana’s early childhood programs. The project’s goals include increasing the number of substitutes in each county, improving the retention rate of substitutes, and increasing the percentage of shifts filled. The expected outcomes of the project are decreased staff burnout, increased availability for professional development, and increased revenue for early childhood programs by maintaining licensing ratio standards. The project involves conducting a statewide marketing campaign, hiring additional staff, and providing orientation stipends for new substitutes. The budget for the project includes allocations for personnel, advertisement, provider relations, and operations.

Total Project Budget: 25,000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Potential Montana State Child Care Development Funding

Project Duration: Ongoing
Geographical Area Served: Montana Statewide
Age Group To Be Served: Ages 0-8

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Mrs.
Contact First Name: Angie
Contact Last Name: Armour
Contact Title: Executive Director
Contact Phone: 406-422-9915
Contact Email: aarmour@mtchildcare.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Raise Montana Legal Name (if Different): Montana Childcare Resource & Referral Network Also Known As: Mailing Address: PO Box 808 City: Lolo State: MT Postal Code: 59847 Main Phone: 406-422-9915 Main Fax: Organization Website: raisemt.org Employer ID Number: 81-0508479 Organization Tax Status: Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Proposal Information Today’s […]

[3

post-4890","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
