Project Title: Emergency Victims Crisis Fund (EVCF)
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
The Emergency Victim Crisis Fund (EVCF) helps clients cover the costs of basic, urgent needs such as household furnishings, new beds, medical care or equipment, and other items that going without would further harm the client or cause additional stress and pain for the family. After a child is exposed to abuse or other violence, families need the stability of a safe home with electricity and running water, beds to sleep in, healthy food, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing their medical needs and those of their family members will be met. They also need productive outlets for their emotions. While our Clinical Services team works with clients, their siblings, and non-offending caregivers to address their trauma through therapy, the EVCF supports families in meeting their basic needs so that the client and caregivers can focus on healing and rebuilding safety after trauma. <\/p>\n
Total Project Budget: FY25 budget will be finalized by September 2024; FY24 budget is $48,500<\/p>\n
