On July 29, 2016, he attended Summer School at Harvard University when he drowned in the Charles River. Tyler was participating in bridge jumping, which was a long-held school tradition. The Tyler Greene & Taylor Grant Foundation (TG²) was established to honor the memory of Tyler and the unbreakable bond he shared with his sister, Taylor. TG² offers educational scholarships to seniors attending East Paulding High School (EPHS) and swimming lesson scholarships to youth in the community.
Limited income and limited outside resources prohibit households from gaining access to swimming instruction and discourage high school seniors from pursuing higher education. TG² would like to award thirty swimming lesson scholarships in 2025 and expand to offer two additional educational scholarships to the surrounding high schools in Paulding County within the next five years.
The Foundation aims to help children who desire to swim but whose families are financially unable to pay for swimming lessons receive the funding they need. The Foundation seeks to assist in the mission of reducing the number of unintentional drownings. Swimming lessons should be readily available for children, especially children of color. TG² currently awards scholarships in Paulding County.

Total Project Budget: $12,000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): $1,000 from board member dues, $1,000 from annual 5K (potential), $2,000 from donations (potential), $2,000 from sponsorships (potential)

Project Duration: Summer and fall of 2025
Geographical Area Served: Paulding and Cobb County (Georgia), and Prince George’s County (Maryland)
Age Group To Be Served: 2 yrs – 18 yrs

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms.
Contact First Name: Leonie
Contact Last Name: Grant
Contact Title: Founder and President
Contact Phone: 404-610-2987
Contact Email: lgrant@tylerandtaylorfoundation.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: The Tyler Greene & Taylor Grant Foundation Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: Mailing Address: 430 Beckett Drive City: Dallas State: GA Postal Code: 30132 Main Phone: 404-610-2987 Main Fax: Organization Website: https://www.tylerandtaylorfoundation.org/ Employer ID Number: 81-5092500 Organization Tax Status: 501(c)(3) Proposal Information Today’s Date: 2/9/2024 […]

[3

post-4710","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
