Project Title: UPLIFT (Using Positive Lessons to Improve our Future Tomorrows) Program
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
The UPLIFT Program will serve a minimum of 80 youth. English-Language Arts, writing skills and math will be the program’s primary focus. The youth enrolled are expected to show an increase in their reading and math comprehension skills. The UPLIFT Program is a approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. The program will use reading and math strategies scientifically and academically proven to be effective; meeting the students’ needs and will enhance the youth’s reading and math overall aptitude skills. This approach will offer both individual and group projects for the youth to participate in.<\/p>\n
