Project Title: 2023-24 USA Climbing Nationals
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
Project Good is an Ohio-based, grassroots non-profit with the goal of supporting youth athletes in the sport of climbing. We have 30 athletes on our roster, of which 21 are competing in the Divisional Championship this weekend (2\/9-2\/11).<\/p>\n
This grant would allow us to send enough coaches to support our athletes at the height of their competition season. In the sport of climbing athletes are required to be in isolation in the period of time leading up to their performance. Coaches with the correct certifications, are allowed to accompany the athletes in the isolation room prior to competing. Having a coach allows for the athletes to properly warm up and hone in on the headspace needed for high pressure situations, which leads to better outcomes.<\/p>\n
Our team of coaches have all of the necessary certifications and requirements needed to accompany our athletes in isolation, as well as a combined total of 50+ years of experience across 6 coaches on our staff.<\/p>\n
