Childhood obesity is of epidemic proposition in both the United States and around the world. It is a devastating disease that affect one out of every four children which too often leads to adult obesity. Our program addresses the total being. Mental, physical and emotional. The program is broken down into three parts. First there is a discussion on some aspect of health in relation to obesity headed by medical professionals. Next, we do a cooking demonstration complementing the lecture by a professional chef trained in health and wellness. After the consumption of the prepared food comes half an hour of exercise preferably outdoors by a professional exercise expert. We have had great results from this formula.<\/p>\n
