The Legacy Learning Academy gives youth an advantage by connecting them with caring adults to build self-esteem, confidence, courage and character outside of school The program allows youth ages 5-15 to build upon the skills that they learn in school and to connect socially by creating an environment for them to learn and grow. We are committed to empowering youth to break free from the chains of poverty by giving them access to free clothing, food, school supplies, and personal hygiene. We give them opportunity to learn outside of school, developing healthy coping skills and relationships, gaining exposure to diverse professions and empowering them to navigate challenges through positive mindsets. Through this program we are dedicated to giving our youth an advantage to prevent youth violence by ensuring that youth have access to inclusive safe spaces offering mental wellness, youth can have improved self-esteem, increased quality of life, and avoid the School-to-prison pipeline.<\/p>\n
