Drawers of Hope Resource Center is seeking funding for a transformative afterschool care program that is specifically designed to support at-risk youth in the High Point, NC community. Our comprehensive program aims to provide essential childcare services while addressing the unique educational needs of vulnerable children through targeted tutoring and mentoring. Additionally, we plan to offer nutritional support by providing snacks and an evening meal during this time. The program\u2019s capacity will progressively increase over three years, with a focus on serving 25-30 children the first year, 40-50 children in the second year, and 60-75 children in the third year. Currently, we are offering free afterschool tutoring for elementary and middle school students on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoons as well as a summer STEAM camp. <\/p>\n
