Funds received will be used to support the mobility needs of children, including new wheelchairs, wheelchair repairs and parts, walkers, adaptive seating, and walkers. Our young residents also participate in standing sessions using assistive equipment. Standing is necessary for children regardless of their physical ability to stand unsupported as the position is crucial for health of bones and muscles as well as the circulatory system and organ function.<\/p>\n
