Yes, M.I.S.S. (Motivate, Inspire, Support, and Succeed) Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to unlocking educational potential and fostering employability in future generations, particularly among underserved young women of color in Northern New Jersey. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) drives us to elevate our participants to achieve the futures they deserve. We humbly request a program development grant of $10,000 to help support our suite of services, which includes the following:<\/p>\n
Personal Development Workshops
\nCollege Tours
\nCareer\/Trade Awareness Events,
\nCollege Shadow Days
\nCareer Mentoring Programs<\/p>\n
This funding is critical for expanding our reach and deepening our impact. It will help us make significant operational improvements in the following areas:<\/p>\n
Program Logistics: Facilitating field trips and events, covering transportation, coordination, and resources to provide real-world exposure.<\/p>\n
Participant Support: Offering meals, materials, and mentorship to ensure participants are fully engaged and benefit from our programs.<\/p>\n
Staffing and Administration: Compensating skilled personnel dedicated to efficient program management and participant support.<\/p>\n
With the Hermanowski Foundation’s backing, we can significantly advance our mission to cultivate confident, career-ready young women; disrupt cycles of poverty; and contribute to a culture of sustained economic growth and equality.
