Our mission is to provide high-quality accessible counseling services to caregivers as they navigate emotional and psychological challenges. Today, we are reaching out to you because we believe that with your support, we can make a significant impact on the lives of mothers and daughters in our community through our "Moments with Mom" program.<\/p>\n
"Moments with Mom" is a trauma-focused family therapy program designed to improve and reconnect mother and daughter relationships. Two passionate African American women, Dr. Massey-Lambert and Katie Onitiri, both psychologists and psychotherapists, initiated FCGC when they recognized the need for accessible mental health services in their community, particularly for families facing trauma.<\/p>\n
We are seeking funds to launch this program successfully. Your contribution will specifically help us in two key areas:<\/p>\n
1. Consultant for Administrative Streamlining:
\nWe aim to hire a consultant to streamline our administrative processes, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to best practices. This step is crucial in establishing a strong foundation for our organization.<\/p>\n
2. Therapy Sessions for 10 Mothers and Daughters:
\nYour support will fund therapy sessions for ten mother-daughter pairs, allowing them to participate in a comprehensive six-week trauma-focused family therapy program. The $800 donation covers the costs of professional services, materials, and assessments for each family.<\/p>\n
