Project Title: Free Tutoring
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
Two certified, licensed teachers will use the grant to tutor underprivileged low-income students in and around the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio. Funds will be used to purchase books, paper, pencils, food, and teacher’s fees. The grant will provide one-on-one tutoring for 10 students in grades 1 through 8 in reading, writing, and math. Most inner-city public school students were already a year or two behind academically. The COVID-19 pandemic made matters worse with school closures, remote instructions, isolation, and the fear of the unknown. The goal of this grant is to offer educational recovery to students who can’t afford tutoring but deserve the best, joyful learning environment possible to nurture and aid in their educational success.\n<\/p>\n
