With a $10,000 Hermanowski Family Foundation grant in 2023-24, MYSO will serve 900 students ages 8 to 18 \u2013 including an increased number, 400, in programs targeting youths from Milwaukee, youths of color, and youths in need who otherwise lack equitable access to music training and its developmental benefits. We will provide participatory music education that develops cognitive, emotional, and social skills needed to succeed in our program, and in life. Also, we will reach 5,000 students who attend our free Community Concert Series and 25,000 people (youths and adults) who attend formal concerts.<\/p>\n
