Getting a well-rounded education helps kids find their strengths and interests, prepares them for a life of learning, and gives them a foundation for a future career. Teachers enable students to succeed by introducing activities and projects according to their ages and abilities. Our project focuses on organizing workshops and training sessions to provide teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge. We ensure that the professional development opportunities are relevant, interactive, and aligned with the identified needs. Research indicates that professional learning ensures that teachers are equipped to meet the needs of their students. We conduct monthly professional development for every teacher in our program, and we support over 100 teachers annually. We partner with local school districts to prepare teachers to build relationships with students and families, collaborate with one another, and pour into the community. The teachers we support contribute to the lives of nearly 5,000 children in the community annually. <\/p>\n

\nSources For The Project (Committed & Potential): We have two grants, one from BAMA Works for $10,000 and another from a local fund for $15,000 committed, and we have applied for funding from the Hardaway Trust for $15,000. We also applied for funding from the Kellogg Foundation for $20,000. <\/p>\n
