Project Title: 2023 KC Children’s Financial Literacy Program

Founded in 2011, it is the mission of Kidz Count (KC) to provide youth with financial and entrepreneurship education to prepare them for a lifetime of smart money decisions. Through afterschool programs and events, Kidz Count provides age-appropriate lessons and activities for elementary, middle, and high school students. <\/p>\n
The 2023 Children’s Financial Literacy Program encompasses all of the individual courses, workshops and sessions that KC will run throughout the year (schedule is available). All Kidz Count initiatives are designed to provide primarily underserved children, and their families, with comprehensive and critical financial literacy education to help break the cycle of poverty and lift up marginalized communities. Kidz Count’s flagship programs Project LOL and BizKid Academy are typically provided as four or six-week afterschool sessions for middle and high school students, and we can adapt our curriculum to work in shorter or longer time frames on request. Participants are provided with a safe and interactive program that keeps them off the streets while helping them learn how to create generational wealth and cultivate their leadership skills. Money Masters Kids Club (MMKC) is for elementary students, and introduces students ages six to ten about the basics of money by providing a solid foundation in financial literacy. Kidz Count also runs one-day workshops – Financially Fit and Winter Moneyland, which are open to all in the community, free of charge.
