In direct alignment with The Charles and Joan Hermanowski Family Foundation’s mission to improve and transform the lives of children and young adults in the United States, Ser-Kallai’s (pronounced: Ser Kuh-Lie) mission is "to improve and transform children’s lives and the world’s future generations through education and social-emotional resources, enhancing well-being through cognitive and emotional development, physical and spiritual wellness, and mental health." Much like the Foundation, we aim to
\nprovide vulnerable youth with the necessary tools to succeed and achieve their full potential. <\/p>\n
Operating in West Palm Beach, Florida; Phoenix, AZ; and San Diego, California, Ser-Kallai is a small nonprofit that provides no-cost, in-person and virtual workshops and programs to youth and families in English and Spanish. Our program was designed by psychologists, licensed educators, social workers and certified coaches to promote the development of emotional intelligence and overall well-being through social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. In 2022 alone, Ser-Kalli reach 519 children, their parents and caregivers, promoting healing from trauma, improved mental health and well-being, and positive youth development.<\/p>\n
