The Rose Arts Festival \u201cRAF\u201d was originally launched in 1965 and became a huge family success. By the time it ended in 1998, it was a two-week family festival with many successful events. <\/p>\n
In 2017, a group with a passion to see it reinstated brought it back to Norwich. For three years, it was a successful and growing event, until the pandemic hit. During the interim, RAF raised funds to create backpacks for the children who were food insecure. RAF was back in 2022 and was a resounding success.<\/p>\n
The RAF committee is committed to keeping the Rose Arts Festival activities on Chelsea Parade free, so no one is denied access due to their ability to pay. RAF believes in diversity, no matter what role or function a person performs. We are committed to achieving this through diversity among our partners, staff, and partnering with companies and people who exemplify these values. We oppose discrimination, inequality, and injustice and are proud to represent equality for all. RAF is committed to supporting the local community by only purchasing products and working with vendors from the local community whenever possible.
\nRAF attracts over 10,000 participants annually, more than 50% of them are children.
