A grant in the amount of $10,000 will provide the necessary funding to help us continue to serve children in grades K-12 throughout Southwest Virginia. JA&#8217;s programs\u2014in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy\u2014ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century. This contribution will be used to support the costs of programming in the 2023-2024 school year including the purchase of program materials, staff training, recruitment and training of volunteers, and activity insurance.\n<\/p>\n<p>Total Project Budget: 300,000<\/p>\n<p>Other Funding <br \/>\nSources For The Project (Committed &amp; Potential): Allstate Foundation- $5,000 (committed), George J. &amp; Effie L. Seay Foundation Grant- 5,000 (potential), &amp;  Edgar A.
