Our focus is on people of color, immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and others who may be marginalized in their communities.

The problem we are solving is the social injustices that these communities face, which lead to inequities in education, employment, and overall quality of life. Through the Neighborhood LYFE program, we aim to address these injustices by providing resources and support to help these communities create positive change in their neighborhoods.

One of the ways we are addressing these challenges is by taking young people school shopping. This may seem like a small action, but it can have a significant impact on their lives. For many young people in marginalized communities, access to resources like school supplies and new clothes can be a struggle. By taking them shopping, we can provide them with the tools they need to succeed in school, boost their confidence, and help them feel supported and valued.

In addition to school shopping, the Neighborhood LYFE program offers community events, mentorship, job training, and other resources to help individuals and communities thrive. We believe that by empowering these communities, we can create lasting change and improve the lives of children and young adults living in the United States. Through the support of The Charles and Joan Hermanowski Family Foundation, we are committed to making a meaningful impact and transforming the lives of those we serve.

Total Project Budget: 100000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): City of Boston

Project Duration: All year round
Geographical Area Served: Boston
Age Group To Be Served: 16+

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.):
Contact First Name: Tony
Contact Last Name: Galvao
Contact Title: Executive Director
Contact Phone: 6179805063
Contact Email: info@concretelyfe.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Concrete LYFE Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: Mailing Address: 15 Christopher St, City: Dorchester State: MA Postal Code: 02122 Main Phone: 6179805063 Main Fax: Organization Website: https://www.concretelyfe.org/ Employer ID Number: 26-3068254 Organization Tax Status: Fiscal sponsor name: Louis D Brown Peace Institute Proposal Information Today’s […]

[3

post-2725","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
