LifeCampUSA guides young men who are left in the aftermath of losing a father while serving in the United States military or law enforcement service on a path toward Biblical fortitude, personal resilience, and restorative healing so that they may live up to their full potential and become community leaders through service. At this critically formative stage of establishing their identity, values, attributes, and goals, these sons are left to navigate life without the crucial aid of a father. Whether their father was killed in action, a training accident, or suicide, we seek to walk alongside these young men to guide them where they are at now, in life\u2019s toughest moments and beyond.
\nLifeCampUSA invites middle school sons of fatherless veteran families on a week-long adventure camp where each receives one-to-one mentorship. While we cannot replace their father, our mentors aim to provide guidance and truth to each student, so that each can successfully engage the confusing world around them and meaningfully impact the communities where they live.
\nLifeCampers will spend six days adventuring in the remote outdoors at vetted Christian ministry camps building cohesion with other young men sharing the same loss. As a small team of ten middle school sons, they will be guided by a ten-person hand-selected mentor team comprised of committed bible believing Christian civilians and active duty or veteran Military or Law enforcement personnel; all of whom are 30 years old or above and are deeply committed to continually growing as a man of integrity and character.
\nAfter camp, LifeCampers engage in purposeful monthly remote devotionals and mentorship with LifeCampUSA mentors for 12-months following camp while our full-time Chaplain staff leads and connects campers\/families to select ministry partners in their local areas of residence to support their ongoing spiritual growth.\n<\/p>\n
