Beginning as a homeschool for children whose parents wanted them to have the highest quality of education despite the hindrance of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Julie Piunti and her daughter, Koren (a teacher of 15 years), envisioned an all-encompassing educational enrichment school for grades K through 8. Our mission is to continue to bring a well-rounded educational experience to Arizona students, helping them excel in all areas of their lives.<\/p>\n
The Arizona Athletic Academy.Co Expansion Project will expand the existing structures and curriculum in place of the school as well as renovate a build-out facility for athletics and other enrichment programs. Ninety percent of our students are enrolled in traveling club sports, therefore they need a local space to practice. We intend to hire more teachers to accommodate the growing demand for this type of school and buy all the necessary supplies needed for academic learning and athletic training.<\/p>\n
This variation of combined education and athletic focus has rarely been done before. We are pioneering a new type of school that mimics the Montessori-type teaching in regards to mathematics, science, social studies, entrepreneurship, and critical thinking development. We are also including sports of all kinds, quality of life focus, one-on-one learning, and team learning. The objectives we intend to reach are to create a multi-purpose facility, purchase all needed supplies, continue to create a well-rounded, positive atmosphere for the students, and increase enrollment as interest has skyrocketed. <\/p>\n
