Poinciana Day School is a small non-profit private school located in West Palm Beach. Currently we have 110 students enrolled in our program. This increase in enrollment is significant from last years population of 67. With small class sizes, our students are immersed in itegrated curriculm, using arts and technology to meet the needs of all learners. We accept students with learning disabilities, regular education students, and gifted students. Our program allows us to remediate and enrich all students so that they are able to reach his or her maximum potential. This is done with creative approach to learning through arts, technology, and hands-on math and science programs.This program is particially funded by McKay Scolarships. However, many of our families are unable to afford additional services for their children. Our goal is provide these services for them. (ex: Occupational Therapy, Speech\/Language and Specialized tutors. If this grant is awarded to us we will be able to order additional materials and provide professional development to all who work with our students in need. Thank you for considering our students and organization as a possible grant recipient.<\/p>\n
