THRP provides a safe haven for children who have been separated from their parents because of abuse or neglect. The program consists of 24-hour residential care, individual and group counseling, and an emergency shelter. Currently, the shelter is licensed and located in Texas.
The United States has one of the worst records of child abuse among industrialized nations. Between 4 to 7 children are lost each day due to child abuse or neglect. There is an ever-increasing need for programs and services to provide shelters and communities for these children.
The THRP model has a unique and innovative approach because of its community involvement, small home-like environment, and collaboration with other organizations; we are able to provide a home where children feel safe and loved. TH4C believes that it truly takes a community to help decrease the number of children who are subjected to abuse and/or neglect. Offering support such as counseling, life skills, and functional coping methods has been proven to prepare children for adoption and decrease the amount of time they have to be in a facility.

Total Project Budget: $611,850

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Grants and Loans

Project Duration: 6 months
Geographical Area Served: Communities surrounding the Houston area
Age Group To Be Served: Generally, TRELS Home for Children (TH4C) aims to help children, families, and communities break the cycle of poverty by empowering people of all ages to dream, aspire and achieve. Nevertheless, TH4C specifically provides its primary services to children or minors who are abandoned, subjected to abuse, or are currently in the foster care system or under the custody of the Department of Family Protective Services (DFPS).

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms.
Contact First Name: Taneshu
Contact Last Name: Collier
Contact Title: CEO
Contact Phone: (936) 647-2979
Contact Email: Grants@th4c.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Trel’s Home for Children Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: Trel’s Home for Children Mailing Address: 1110 N Loop 336 West Suite 425 City: Conroe State: Texas Postal Code: 77301 Main Phone: (936) 647-2979 Main Fax: 832-234-7314 Organization Website: https://www.th4c.org/ Employer ID Number: 82-4631287 Organization Tax […]

[3

post-1228","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
