Many families struggle to afford essential hygiene items such as diapers, period supplies, and adult briefs — products not covered by federal assistance programs and often too costly for households already facing financial hardship. This gap directly affects health, dignity, school attendance, and overall family stability.

Our project, Expanding Access to Diapers, Period Supplies, and Adult Briefs Across Palm Beach, seeks to increase the availability of these critical items for vulnerable families in our community. As identified in our application, the project focuses on women and children throughout Palm Beach County . Funding will support the purchase and distribution of diapers, period supplies, and adult briefs, enabling us to meet rising demand and reduce the daily stress experienced by families who must choose between basic needs.

Covered South Florida operates through a community‑partner model, collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, senior programs, and social‑service agencies to ensure products reach individuals where they already receive support. This approach reduces barriers related to transportation, awareness, and stigma. Because our organization is fully volunteer‑run, nearly every dollar contributed goes directly toward product procurement and distribution, maximizing the impact of philanthropic investment.

With support from the Hermanowski Foundation, we will expand inventory, increase distribution frequency, and serve more families across Palm Beach County. This project will improve health outcomes, restore dignity, and provide stability for women and children who need it most.

Total Project Budget: 150000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential):

Project Duration:
Geographical Area Served: Women and Children
Age Group To Be Served: 1-90

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Mrs
Contact First Name: Stacia
Contact Last Name: Anderson
Contact Title: Treasurer
Contact Phone: 7577460608
Contact Email: stacia@coveredsfl.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: COVERED SOUTH FLORIDA INC Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: Mailing Address: 261 NW 13TH ST City: Boca Raton State: FL Postal Code: 33432 Main Phone: 7575460608 Main Fax: Organization Website: www.covereedsfl.org Employer ID Number: 86393388 Organization Tax Status: Non Profit Proposal Information Today’s Date: 6/7/2026 […]

[3

post-11015","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
