Beacon For Purpose, founded in 2025, is dedicated to empowering individuals and families facing insecurities of daily living through compassionate support, essential resources, and educational programs that build life-skills, dignity, and long-term self-reliance. Our annual operating budget is $5,715.00. We serve underserved communities throughout the Las Vegas Valley of Nevada, including youth transitioning into adulthood. In particular, those coming out of the foster care system. Our Aging Out project focuses on preparing them to stand on their own two feet. <\/p>\n
We respectfully request $1,500.00 from the Hermanowski Foundation to support our Aging Out project operations for 2027. These funds will sustain and expand our educational initiatives in goal setting, job readiness, financial literacy, and household management, helping participants apply practical skills that support economic independence.<\/p>\n
The need is clear: aged out inexperienced young adults are sent out into communities with very little knowledge of how to manage their daily responsibilities; lacking access to foundational life-skills education. Beacon For Purpose responds through prevention-focused, experience-based programming that equips participants before challenges escalate into crises. Our goals are to increase confidence, strengthen decision-making, and build lasting pathways to stability in the underserved community of the Las Vegas Valley.<\/p>\n
Beacon For Purpose was founded by Andrea Aguilar, Brandy Cramer, and Catia Ventura, whose shared commitment to education, collaboration, and measurable impact guides our leadership and culture.
