Our foundation will deliver 400 Joy Boxes to hospitalized children battling illness across the state of Florida through our Outpatient Joy Box Delivery Program. Designed for children receiving ongoing outpatient medical care each Joy Box is filled with therapeutic arts and crafts, magic tricks, toys, and craft activities to bring joy through long, isolating treatment journeys. Every item inside has been tested and approved by child life services and is trauma-informed. Our post-receipt assessment study showed a 91% improvement in children’s psychological affect after receiving a surprise Joy Box, and our boxes are 100% clinician-recommended! <\/p>\n
